"How To..." Online Workshops: Develop Essential Research Skills 

Overview:

Our "How To..." online workshops are designed for anyone looking to develop essential research skills. These sessions are open to all and provide practical guidance on key aspects of research.

Each workshop lasts 45 minutes and occurs online via Microsoft Teams during lunchtime, from 12:30 to 13:15. Dr. Catherine Lynch, Associate Professor in Healthcare at the University of West London, will deliver the sessions. Whether new to research or looking to refine your skills, these workshops offer valuable insights in a concise and accessible format.

Learn more about Dr. Catherine Lynch

Dr. Catherine Lynch is an Associate Professor in Healthcare at the University of West London (UWL), with a distinguished career in advanced practice education and healthcare leadership. Since 2009, Catherine has been at the forefront of leading the Masters in Advanced Practice programme, successfully steering its development and securing validation and revalidation every four years. Her leadership was pivotal in attaining accreditation for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programme with Health Education England in 2020. Currently, she serves as the Course Leader for the MSc Advancing Professional Practice, where she combines academic expertise with her extensive experience as a registered nurse in clinical and business environments.

Promoted to Associate Professor in 2024, Catherine continues to advance healthcare education and research, drawing on her passion for bridging the gap between theory and practice in healthcare.
