Sarah Appleton

Dr Sarah Appleton is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in the area of Obesity and Weight Management.

She completed her doctorate at the University of Oxford and has completed research in Nutrition and Behaviour at both the University of Oxford and the University of Bristol.

Sarah has worked in Tier 3 and Tier 4 weight management services across the UK and in America. Sarah currently works as a Clinical Psychologist and Research Lead in a Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management Service for Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

During her NIHR project Sarah is working in a duo with Honey Langcaster-James to explore the impact of social media on mental Heath.
