Hannah Williamson

Clinical Vascular Scientist,
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

Hannah is a Clinical Vascular Scientist based in London. She has specialised in non-invasive vascular ultrasound for 10 years gaining both HCPC registration and accreditation with the Society for Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Ireland (SVT).

Hannah lectures for King’s College University and has sat on the SVT Education Committee for the last 3 years taking the lead for practical exams. More recently she has stepped into the role of Chair of Education for the SVT.

Within her workplace, Hannah sits on the quality improvement and assurance team within the Vascular department at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT), which works towards service accreditation with UKAS as part of 'Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS)'.

Through the Improvement Leader Fellowship, Hannah hopes her passion for education and healthcare improvement will help her to promote the practice of preventative healthcare in her team and build stronger relationships with support services within the Trust and the wider community that ICHT serves.

By balancing diagnostic services with preventative healthcare practice, the long-term aim is to help to reduce/prevent the effects of chronic cardiovascular disease.
