🎓 Now Open: Public Health Internship – Apply by 23 May 2025 | Part of the NIHR Undergraduate Internship Programme
We are pleased to offer an undergraduate internship in public health research as part of the NIHR Undergraduate Internship Programme. This fully funded opportunity is hosted by our Child Population Health theme, based in the Department of Primary Care and Public Health at Imperial College London.
The internship is full-time for up to eight weeks and is designed for a student with an interest in applied health and care research, academic medicine, or public health. The intern will be embedded in an active research team and gain experience in literature review, critical appraisal, communication, and collaborative working. They will contribute to our evaluation of the NWL ‘hospital at home’ programme and have the opportunity to tailor aspects of the placement to their own development goals.
The post is based at Imperial’s White City Campus, with a rate of £20.82 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). Students from other universities are welcome to apply and may be eligible for a subsidy of up to £1,000 for travel and accommodation.
Applicants must be enrolled in a health or life sciences undergraduate degree and have completed at least one year of study by the internship start date. We actively encourage applications from underrepresented backgrounds.
