Stephen is a Critical Care Charge Nurse at University College Hospital, where he has worked for the last 7 years.
He has 13 years' Critical Care experience. During his career, he has developed a keen interest in quality improvement and, in particular, the psychological well-being of patients.
Since October 2021, as part of a wider project, he has been developing a new Clinical Nurse Specialist role within Critical Care, with the aim of improving patient and family experience and shifting the culture of Critical Care towards a more holistic person-centred care model.
