Nadine originally studied Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nadine has shown a special interest in Paediatric Audiology specifically. 

She has previously worked privately but has managed to always find her way back to the NHS where her passion truly lies. Nadine is known to be incredibly persistent and hardworking. She is incredibly supportive and encouraging towards her team of Paediatric Audiologists

As, a part of her current role, Nadine has always had a keen interest in researching new and innovative pathways in Paediatric Audiology. One of which being, how Paediatric Audiologists can improve their testing strategies whilst assessing the challenging to assess patient population. This cohort of patients tend to remain on waiting lists for prolonged periods of time, where results cannot be obtained successfully without, putting these children under sedation. The current battery of diagnostic test procedures were not made to cater for the patients. Nadine is enthusiastic to find a testing method more suitable, so we can cater for all patients

Outside of her work life, she has an incredibly supportive husband who pushes her to do the work she loves, whilst caring for their 2 year old daughter and 2 rescue dogs. She also enjoys doing DIY in her spare time.
