The NIHR Applied Research Collaborations Dementia Capacity Building Programme

The NIHR Applied Research Collaborations (ARC) Dementia Capacity Building Programme, jointly funded by the NIHR and the Alzheimer’s Society, provides £7.5m to support a cohort of more than fifty early-career (post-doctoral) researchers across the UK in developing skills and experience in the field of dementia.

The NIHR ARC Northwest London (ARC NWL) has secured funding for three postdoctoral researchers for a two-year period through this program. This presents an exciting prospect for collaborative work with researchers from the Department of Primary Care and Public Health (PCPH) and the Aging Epidemiology Research Unit (AGE). This collaboration aims to make a meaningful impact in the battle against dementia.

We have appointed three researchers Dr Pallavi Nair, Dr Sujin Kang and Dr Roxanna Korologou-Linden.
